Catherine Foote is Reverend at the University Congregational Church of Christ, and has been in the area since the late 1990s. While at first she thought she could never see herself living in the University district, now Foote loves the area, and all the aspects that make it unique. Foote describes the energy of The Ave (University Way), homelessness, social services in the area, Nickelsville, Conversations on Homelessness, and the relationship between businesses, service providers, and the homeless, and how these relationships affect the community.
